Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for the Atascadero Wine Fest! Whether you're a long-time attendee or this is your first time at our event, we're covering some common questions we get about this festival. Still, have questions? Give us a call at (805) 466-2044.

Can I Get A Ticket If I Don't Plan On Drinking?

Yes, you can! We offer Designated Driver Tickets for only $30. So you can explore the festival and have fun with friends and family. These tickets do not include a wine glass for tasting or access to tastings.

Can I Bring My Kids?

Definitely! This is a family-friendly event so kids with accompanied parents are welcome. They will not need a ticket to gain entry, only the accompanying guardian will need to purchase a ticket.

Will There Be Food?

Absolutely, we'll have a wide variety of food vendors (which you can see here), and a standard ticket includes $10 Festival Bucks to spend at the food vendors.

What Activities Are There?

There will be plenty of activities for you to enjoy at the Wine Fest.

  • You can enjoy the Roar & Pour Experience which allows you to get up close and personal with zoo animals.

  • Grab a paintbrush and enjoy some wine glass painting to customize your festival wine glass.

  • Strike a pose in front of Lola's Letters, larger-than-life words that are found throughout the festival.

  • Relax and enjoy a side car lake tour around the glistening Atascadero Lake.

  • Say cheese! Get your friends and family together to capture some fun festival memories at the 805 Selfie Booth.

  • Dance to live music by 3 Drink Minimum, DJ Manny, Dulcie Taylor.

What Is Recommended That I Bring To The Festival?

While you don't need to bring anything to the festival, there are a few items that we recommend you bring that will elevate the experience.

  • A lawn/lounge chair that you can set up by the lake or the stage and relax in while sipping your wine.

  • A picnic blanket that you can spread out, so that your friends can comfortably join you.

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses, this is a summer festival with a bright sun. While there will be plenty of trees and shade, sunglasses and sunscreen never hurt.

  • Last but not least, water! There will be water available at the festival with a Hydration Station by 805 Pure Water & Costco, but having your own water bottle is handy.

Can I Bring Outside Food Or Drinks To The Festival?

No, the only drink you can bring in is water. (There will be water available at the festival with a Hydration Station by 805 Pure Water & Costco.) We'll supply the wine! There will be plenty of food vendors available in the festival. With every standard ticket you'll also receive $10 Festival Bucks that you can use to purchase your food.

What Bands Are Playing?
